Making sense of low glycemic approach

You know that the low glycemic approach to eating is beyond doubt incredibly healthy and has benefits far beyond simple weight loss. If you can at least pay some attention to integrating lof glycemic index foods regularly, without worrying too much about it, you’l find overall health benefits coming your way.

By the way, here’s a quick list of my favorite low glycemic index foods that are easy to have a round to munch on:
Low fat Yogurt (sweetened or plain, I like plain best!)
Peanuts
Artichoke
Asparagus
Broccoli
Cauliflower
Celery
Cucumber
Eggplant
Green beans
Lettuce
Peppers, all varieties, (trust the Jalapeno; it you remove the seeds & Roast, it’s not that spicy)
Snow peas
Spinach
Squash
Tomatoes
Zucchini
Soy beans

If/when you are looking at low GI foods and diets, and you feel like you may need a bit of additional help in getting going, you can look into a managed weight loss program, like the ones offered by Dr Darm which I found through Facebook

It looks like the programs they offer at Dr Darm weight loss are sensible and geared toward helping you manage your own diet, fitness program at your pace while recording and paying attention to your medical stat readings on a regular basis. Check them out and see if you can find a similar program to Dr Darm in your area
